Our pathway to home ownership is designed to help you find the right home, at the best possible price, and with the least stress. Once you’re ready to work with our team, we’ll meet to discuss the steps towards a successful transaction including:
- Creating a wish-list to determine your wants and needs.
- Getting you a mortgage pre-approval. We’ll introduce you to our mortgage partner, who can help you determine your buying price range and the best loan program for you.
- Setting up listing alerts based on your search criteria. We will email you notifications about listings that are most likely to interest you complete with photos and detailed property info.
- Scheduling showings and attending open houses for properties that you’ve selected from our listing alerts.
- Finding the perfect home and writing an offer. We will present your offer to the seller's agent, which may be accepted, countered or rejected- we will address each of these possibilities and how to handle them.
- Acceptance, appraisal and inspection concerns. Once the seller accepts your offer the home will undergo an appraisal and inspection. The appraisal guarantees the lender that the price of the property is consistent with similar nearby homes while the inspection makes sure that everything in the home is functioning properly and there are no major issues.
- Preparing for your closing. This process includes getting final approvals, wiring your down payment to the closing agent or title company, reviewing all of the paperwork, and signing a myriad of documents. Once the lender has funded the loan you will be given the keys to your new home!
